The Aliens were an unnamed species which feature as the antagonists in the 1956 science fiction film Earth vs. the Flying Saucers, for which stop-motion animation legend Ray Harryhausen provided the visual effects.
Description[]
The Aliens were a highly-evolved species who employed advanced technology including energy weapons, interstellar craft, mind-control devices, and personal protective suits which also function as life-support systems. They were humanoid, and possessed little-to-no empathy for the humans they interacted with.
History[]
The Aliens came to Earth seeking a new homeworld after their own was destroyed long ago in an unspecified calamity. They attempted to colonise the world of humans using any means necessary, including widespread violence and destruction, but were thwarted by the resourceful Dr. Martin, who developed a sonic weapon capable of bringing down their spacecraft.

As part of their Ray Harryhausen Signature Series, independent comic book publisher TidalWave Productions released a four-issue limited series titled Flying Saucers vs. the Earth, which depicts the events of the film from the perspective of the aliens.[1]
