Behind the Scenes[]
In the mythology of Classical Greece, Mount Olympus was the seat of power for the Father of the Gods Zeus and his pantheon, and was visualised by people of the time as a towering mountain. Locals of the time usually named the nearest, tallest mountain as Olympus, although the most universally-accepted site which homed the gods was the Mount Olympus in Thessaly- the only Olympus whose name has survived into the modern day [1].
